Skype zoom download. How to download Skype on any device
I am working with a client that has need to use both Skype and Zoom. Initially, she had been using Zoom and had no issues. When she tried to use Skype, audio was good, but was unable to access her camera.
I was able to get Skype to access the camera by changing the Camera Privacy Settings to On had been set to off. When she went to use her video camera in a Zoom meeting, it no longer worked. I went back in to the Camera Privacy Settings and turned Skype off, and Zoom video suddenly started working again. I can't see any reason that the Privacy settings for Skype should effect Zoom. Is there a known incompatibility or something? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.
I personally cannot replicate the problem in any current version of Skype. I can have an ongoing call in Skype and Zoom at the same time not recommended and the camera is not affected unless it is in use by the opposite software. This includes camera previews. Your issues suggest something else is in play creating the issue. It could be a lack of updates, third party software possibly even a Zoom setting or overlay, or specifically security software. What exact version of Skype are using? There are 3 main versions you can run on Windows Have you tried them all?
Skype for Web in the latest Chrome or Edge browser 8. Can the Windows camera App still access the camera when that toggle is on? Does this change with Zoom running or no running? Go to Windows Start and in the Run or Search box type dxdiag. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file.
